Knowles
A painter of near-abstract, gestural landscapes influenced by the Cornish landscape. Knowles studied at Farnham and Winchester Schools of Art, 1964-69 and at the Slade School of Art, until 1971. He has held numerous exhibitions including the City of London, Art into Landscape, Serpentine Gallery London, the Whitechapel Open, London and numerous other shows both in the UK and abroad. The City of London, Texaco Oil, Wiggins Teape, The Parnham Trust, Demarco European Art Foundation hold his work as well as private collections in the UK, America, Italy and Germany.
